The date of her birth is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her given name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood but an American citizenship. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina started playing golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school in Goddard High School. She was the winner of the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. Her volleyball skills were also acknowledged at the national stage. 2003, she began her studies in The University of Texas. Her senior year was a success. she was a winner in every tournament she participated. During her undergrad professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female athlete of the year.
